I am signing this petition so that SADC Leaders brings back the SADC Tribunal and give it human rights jurisdiction so that it hears individual grievances on human rights violations.

I have reasoned and judged, after critical analysis, that doing otherwise will not only be detrimental to me as an individual, but my country and Africa wholly.

Am signing because i feel Zambia's governments should be under scrutiny so as to allow good governance and human rights to further development. governments should be made accountable for what they do and deliver to the people.

I'm signing because we are working with many groups whose rights have been systematicaly violated and we thing it is right to have a regional court to turn to, when our rughtless government turns a blind eye to the gross violations of human rights they are pepetrating.

I am signing because I am citizen of SADC and the Tribunal should be a pillar of justice and the rule of law in our sub-region and we do not deserve leaders who are above the law and do not comply with human rights principles that they themselves signed and it matters to all of us as individuals who demand justice for all.

I am signing because it is significant that human rights abuses within the SADC region are vivid. Thus there is need to protect people's rights and this can be achieved by reinstating the Tribunal.

I believe that it is important that human rights within the SADC region are truly protected. Without a Tribunal with a mandate to do this, human rights are vulnerable to serious violations.

I am signing because really "no one is above the law". I see that some leaders in the SADC region do not comply with human rights principles generally and this is not good. we need this impartial court to assist individuals!
