The 6-period schedule has been a part of our school for years now, and we, the students, believe it is time for a change. For you see, the 6-period schedule works against the students and their ability to learn. It also creates a more complex system for teachers to teach in. That's where the 3-period schedule or block schedule comes into play. This proposed schedule change will allow students to learn and retain information taught more efficiently and give teachers a better opportunity to get to know their students, thus creating an ideal teaching atmosphere. Another pro to this change is that it allows students not to be as stressed with the school as they usually would and would give more opportunities for them to get mental health.
