During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many New York students have not been learning to their full capacity online through the internet compared to learning in person. Some CUNY's are removing their Credit/No Credit (CR/NC) policy for the spring 2021 semester, and resuming their "all letter grade policy". Hunter college is one of the few colleges continuing to fight for the Spring 2021 CR/NC policy to help their students, but others are not fighting for it. 

Many know that learning online is not a luxury, but rather an inconvenience to many students. Internet problems and other computer issues may arise, and eye contact as well as seeing professors in person are key to many students success. Professors during online learning have not been teaching to their best ability, with many classes having group discussions that lead to nothing because of students either being distracted, internet issues, or a plethora of other issues.

Signing this petition will help CUNY students who are struggling to keep their grades up due to this new way of life during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are many issues happening these days, and students who care about their future should not have their transcripts tarnished because of letter grades while they're forced to learn remotely.
