Stop dog off leash area on Watervale Pde Wakerley

The dog off leash area will increase traffic in our quiet street. It will also reduce the availability of a large piece of Watervale Parade park to local families, especially children who use the park daily.  There will be increased noise from barking dogs and there is very limited parking. This will force dog owners to park their cars on the footpath which puts pedestrians lives in danger.  Finally, construction of the large dog off leash area will negatively affect the local habitat of the Lota Creek catchment area which the Habitat Brisbane Group has worked so hard to restore to its pristine beauty over the past four years.  There has to be better locations for a dog off leash area than this park on Watervale Pde which is right next to residences.
