Keep Bonny Doon's residential neighborhoods and TPZ free of commercial cannabis

We urge the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors to retain all of the commercial cannabis protections proposed by the County Planning Commission on March 14th. Within the Coastal Zone plus a 1-mile buffer (which covers much of Bonny Doon, but not all of it), this will allow commercial cannabis only on properties zoned for Agriculture or Commercial Agriculture —not on residential or timber properties.

In addition to signing this petition, Bonny Doon residents are urged to send email to our District’s Supervisor, Ryan Coonerty (Ryan.Coonerty@ and to attend the Board of Supervisors meeting that will consider commercial cannabis regulations (Monday April 9 at 9:00AM in Room 525 of the County Office Building, at 701 Ocean Street).
