On October 7th 2021 the hate speech group Key of David Christian Center came on Rutgers Camden campus. This group is well known for spreading hate and discourse on numerous college campuses in South Jersey and Philadelphia. But this haves to come to an end!! How can Rutgers University in good faith tell its students it priority is to keep students safe when they allow hate speech groups on our campus? This is wrong and Must end for the safety of students who are in marginalized groups and POC. Hate Speech is not free speech. 

Solutions we want as students. 

1. banned all known hate speech groups like the key of David Christian center 

2. Make more effort to prioritize students voices over those who do not attend our school 

3. Do not allow solicited groups on campus without student invitation and approval. 

These are three simple things our college President and chancellor can do. We must stand up to hate speech and stop allowing groups like Key Of David Christian Center to spew anti-Semitic slurs and islamophobic speech to our students. Rutgers is doing a disservice to it self if they do not protect their students from groups like this. Hate speech is not free speech. And Rutgers mush do better!!
