I am a strong supporter of organized labor and the rights of individuals to organize. I deplore the retaliatory decision made by my alma mater. As the Mayor of Plainfield I call on Rutgers University to restore Chris to her position.

This looks a lot like union-bashing to me! Not a good way to encourage compromise and civil discourse between the administration and our unions.

How sleazy to use this woman and her son for Rutgers PR at the same time you are firing her for union organizing.

The rights of workers to organize and advocate for themselves and for their co-workers should be honored and rewarded not punished.
