Wellness Wednesday

  • Prioritizes serving others.
  • Having Wellness Wednesday will allow students to feel less stressed and have time to catch up on work and calm their minds.
  • We can have a zoom meeting at 1 PM to perform mindfulness and meditation.
  • We want to relieve stress and the overwhelming amount of work we have during the week.
  • We want to give the students a break from the busy days they have to socialize with their friends or with their family.
  • Through wellness, Wednesday, students, and teachers -will have more time to prepare for their classes. Leading us to become more "ready to learn"

What’s the point?

  • This will improve student’s mental health and help lighten the work the students and teachers have to do.
  • This will promote well-being and unity throughout our grades because we are all fighting together, even after our fighting we will still be a stronger community since we united under one cause.
  • Promotes unity through having huge group events on a weekly basis.

Benefits of Mindfulness

  •  Help with students’ lack of motivation and drive, by clearing their heads, which makes them more productive learners.
  • Help relieve stress, treat heart disease, lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, improve sleep, and alleviate gastrointestinal difficulties.
