This is insane. Teach business so they can get a job by their qualifications and not by what they are learning. I was thinking of going to the Rutgers Business School for my masters but now am reconsidering.

I'm signing because this policy is a waste of time and money. Poor use of resources.

I agree with this - navy suits are practically more prominent if not just as frequently seen on Wall St as a black suit.

These rules are ridiculous. Corporate America invites you to wear navy colored suits to a interview.

This is ridiculous in today's day and age. A student may only have one color suit because they are already paying YOU a fortune for an education and can't afford a second suit. A suit i's a suit, regardless of color. Same with shoes, toe, and shirt. Worry about actually teaching the students so they can get a job and not what color clothes they wear to a job fair!

Having graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and with a 30 career in banking, I've never owned or wore a black business suit. I do have a black tuxedo. Perhaps the students should wear tuxedos instead! My interview suit was a navy blue, chalk stripe, from Joseph A. Bank. This looks more like FASCISM then fashion.

I'm signing because I was turned away from a career fair in September

A dark Navy Blue suit is acceptable as appropriate business attire. RU should be ashamed for denying students the opportunity to gain employment. It is a tough job market. Many students may only have one suit but the point I am making is that Navy Blue suits are acceptable business attire.
