The horrible events of the last days clearly show the true colors of Putin’s brutal fascist imperialist regime and its grave threat to international law, peace and freedom.

            Today, along with all of humanity, Russian-speaking US citizens, stand in support of Ukraine. This includes those who came in different waves of immigration from the former USSR, especially those who hail from modern day Ukraine and share common values with their Ukrainian-speaking comrades.

            At the same time, there is a certain group of people who arrived here in the 2000’s after the collapse of the Soviet Union, were naturalized, became American citizens, but keep rallying behind Putin’s gangster policies. Despite their oath of allegiance to this country, they surreptitiously kept their Russian passports and conveniently travel back and forth promoting Putin’s ideology of hatred to America. Within their social circle, they openly celebrate the Russian onslaught on independent Ukraine!

            Can anybody imagine American citizens travelling to Germany during WWII while our country is fighting a horrible war, enjoying their stay with Nazi friends, bringing back Mein Kampf and other “souvenirs” and praising Hitler?  Those people act exactly like this.

            We need to stand up to such individuals and reject them from our society. They should be condemned along with Russian oligarchs and Putin’s cronies. A high toll should be levied on them for their treasonous behavior and their unlawful dual citizenship. Their American citizenship should be revoked. Let them go back home forever to their beloved Russia and spare us their cancerous presence.
