Russell Group, encourage a free market of ideas, before Academic debate is further stifled

Recent changes in University rules have lead to Freedom of Speech being stifled, creating an environment not fit for debate and discourse. As a student hoping to go to University one day, I don't want to be harassed, ostracised or punished for not agreeing with certain beliefs (and neither should other people). Russell Group can be considered to be at the heart of the issue, since (according to a 2016 study [1],) each of the Russell Group universities either place harsh restrictions on speech, or actively attempt to stop it. Them loosening their tight restrictions on the neck of students who are open to debate are the first steps towards liberating the people who want a free exchange of ideas within UK Academia. Please sign if you want these changes to happen.
