Improve Bus Services by extending evening and Sunday services, implementing reasonable fares, increasing the frequency of services, requiring drivers to be polite, ensuring the service runs on time and guaranteeing that Low Rider buses (for ease of access by wheelchair and pushchair users) actually turn up when services are advertised as Low Rider.
All residents of Farnborough and Aldershot should be able to access the newly opened Westgate centre through an improved bus service in evenings and on weekends. Services to Frimley Park hospital should also be extended and improved so that loved ones can visit family members during the requested visiting hours.
Fares should be reasonable so that families can afford them and access the town centre through a service that is low carbon and congestion reducing.
It is not right that customers with children in pushchairs are left waiting at bus stops when a non-Low Rider bus turns up instead of the advertised Low Rider service.
