I would like to see the Rural City of Wangaratta install a footpath along Scott Street to ensure that people can safely walk along the street without having to walk on the road. I would also like to see child-safe railing installed on the footbridge over the Three Mile Creek that connects Walter Street/Sunset Drive and Willow Drive.
As a local resident and father of a three-year-old boy, I am concerned that it is only a matter of time before a child is hit by a car along Scott Street or falls into the Three Mile Creek due to poor infrastructure. Please sign this online petition in lieu of door knocking due to the current Covid-19 lockdown.
