The grounds of Coton House, a Grade II* Listed Building which dates back to 16th century, has been earmarked for extensive construction with the introduction of 100 new build houses.
Once an important country dwelling set within attractive parkland a planning application has been submitted which allows the developer to fell 6 Trees, which currently hold Tree Protection Orders, destroying the long avenue of mature trees which currently welcomes you onto this historic estate.
There will be detrimental implications to many protected species, including Bats, in addition to the resident Deer, Rabbits and Birds who currently live peacefully alongside the established residents of Coton House Estate.
