Provide shaded areas for owners to put their dogs in carparks.

Every year hundreds of dogs die from being left in hot cars. Many owners, especially on holiday, using the excuse that they had nowhere to put their dog whilst they 'quickly' nipped into shops. There is no excuse. If you have dogs then you should tailor your life around them and put their needs before your own.
As we know, dogs cannot sweat and can only cool by panting, therefore, if they are in a hot car with little or no air, they will struggle immensely to cool down.
I want the government to make it legal for all carparks and retail parks to provide a safe shaded lock up area, such as kennels for dogs to be put in whilst their owners shop. These kennels could be coin operated for a pound and the money then goes back to the carpark owners or the dog owner gets the pound back when returning the key.
Please sign this petition in the hope to finally make a change and stop this unnecessary suffering.
