Save Combat Stress Veterans Welfare Services

Combat stress provides treatment and support for veterans with ptsd and a range of other mental health issues allied with ptsd.Over the past three years due to the lack of donations and the shortfall in funding coming into combat stress .The charity now finds itself having to axe a very vital first and supporting stage service. The current C.E.O of the charity has decided that the only way to deal with this is to axe the 14 welfare officers and welfare service .The welfare service continues to help and support its current veterans and those that they are now taking on from more recent conflicts /wars and wou;d do for the thousands that will eventually be coming forward in the future.IF the were visited by the welfare service from combat stress .But if that service is withdrawn that first step may never happen and they may go on to suffer in silence after serving thier country. We cannot allow this to happen and stand idly by .while the c.e.o has to make savage cuts to services that are continually supporting thier current veterans and for those men and women who have served and are serving in conflict areas now! I need your support to send a clear message to the government and to the c.e.o and the prime minister that this service needs to be kept and for then to step in and support combat stress more directly with extra funding to allow a sterling service that combat stress welfare officers provide in local and outreach levels countrywide.Thank you for your support it does matter and it CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE .to loose this service will affect so many ofmy veteran brothers and sisters it simply just cannot be allowed to just happen .
