I know what this family means to my son and am very happy to make this small gesture.

No family deserves to be kept separate because of the state.

Enough immigrants are allowed into the country yet our own British born citizens who have been brought up here and have a long history of family generations born and bred in UK are now being turned away!
Despicable

David Cameron how can you justify allowing illegal immigrants to stay in this country give them money to spend and put them up in hotels all at the tax payers expense but my sister who was born and raised in this country has worked paid tax and had her son born in this country is not allowed any help at all or allowed the right to have her family together this country has become a joke rapists peodophiles and all other sorts of criminals are allowed the right to stay in this country if they have family here but yet an English citizen and her English son are forced to either live apart from the man of their family who runs he's own business will pay he's on way into this country and does not want to live off of the tax payers of this country told to leave where is the equality or sense of justice in that this country has turned its back on its own people and you should be truly ashamed at the total lack of care you have for it

I spent several months away from my wife and daughter, got a job earning well above the threshold and jumped through all the hoops... only for my wife to be refused because I did not have enough payslips (even though I showed my contract). What country separates two of its own citizens, a father and a little girl, just because Daddy doesn't have some payslips so Mummy isn't allowed in to the country.

I'm also a British expat in Cape Town. I personally know of 2 families affected by this petty rule. I'm disgusted by the government's lack of empathy.
