I believe that trident isn't good for the country of Scotland because one the subs are built for the cold war era and are out of date and weapons of mass destruction are so close to scotlands biggest city which is unreal, the money we could use from it would substantially help the UK/Scottish Governments Budget

Trident is a danger to humanity. Defence funds should be used for practical defence purposes not vanity projects which will never be used or if used will result in mutual destruction.

It is not democratic to force these monstrous weapons on a country whose government is against them. If you are in any doubt as to whether the Scottish people want nukes in the Clyde, why not ask them in the form of a vote?? One without any chance of fraud this time! No because democracy is not the UK's forte and never will be!

I believe that a majority of the people of Scotland are vigorously opposed to weapons of mass destruction on our shores. The people of Scotland have a mandate as we have a majority Government opposed to Trident. There is a democratic deficit in imposing these weapons in Scotland. It is an outrage.
