If there have been imorovements to the benefit sanctions these needed to
be implemented. I think there should be local and regional meetings to discuss the rules
and to see what needs to be done. could anyone find a room and set up
a meeting to do this so if there are sanctions they are fair.

Too many people have fallen foul of an assessment process that is not worthy of the name. No caring society would treat individuals this way and it is time this was stopped.

Stop demoralising, huimiliating and starving people with unfair, inadequate and unjust benefits and sanctions. There's more than enough wealth in the world and the UK to provide a decent living for people who are unable to work as well as those who can't find a job that pays enough for them live off. The super rich and very wealthy should pay more tax, not get concessions!

Having lived on Benefits I understand the pain with JSA advisors not believeing that you are actually trying when you had been all along and I've seen friends of mine get brought to the edge of madness with sanctions.

The issue with this is that there are clear competency issues with the wca assessors, especially after the ch4 dispatches program featuring capita, there needs to be a total restructuring of the disciplinary process, not they done something wrong carry on, the structure should be independant assessors with expert service user involvement, spot checks, announced/unannounced, where there is a trend that identifies a individual consistently making errors, then checks on more records, mandatory reporting to the professional body (NMC, HCP etc), in the event that a assessor is then assessed and subject to any order by the professional body then the company should pull all cases involving the individual and along with the external assessment team judge that the diagnosis was correct and if not report this to the DWP as a unsafe assesment, the company should also pay any costs involved for wrong diagnosis, this includes all legal costs (both sides) Tribunal costs, costs for further treatment to a individual should the person go back into the system and need further care and a degree of compensation, they should if this is a regular occurence pay for a NHS team with Complaints experience IE Pals and minimum BAND 6 nurses with experience relating to conditions to investigate a area where issues are occurring regularly and make enforcable reccomendations with the power of being able to report a individual direct for unsafe practice, these assessments are not safe and have not been since they started, it is time to make them safe if not do away with them and have them bought into NHS control with NHS Structure around safeguarding etc.

The poor are being made to live on less to support the rich. This is the wrong way round.
