We are a group of local citizens who endorse thoughtful development that is respectful of the environment, adds to the quality of life, and spurs economic growth for the entire community.

However, we respectfully disagree with the Cambridge Planning Commission and Lamoille County Planning Commissions' letters that state that the 60 Unit RV Park Proposal is in concurrence with the Cambridge Town and Lamoille County Development Plan.

We are concerned that a 60 Unit RV Park on Rt 108 South would have negative and irreversible consequences due to the following:

• Disruption to the Wildlife, their habitats, and wetlands along the Brewster River Basin; and surrounding areas that abut or are adjacent to the proposed site,
• Due to increased large vehicle traffic, the creation of bicycle and pedestrian safety hazards,
• Developing the RV Park on that specific parcel could significantly impact the open and scenic views along this section of 108 South which is part of the  Green Mountain Byway,
• Impacts on property values and the Cambridge tax base with properties that abut or are adjacent to the proposed site,
• Degradation of the road infrastructure and negative impacts on-road stability along the Route 108 Green Mountain Scenic Byway,
• Increased chances for closures of Notch Road due to oversized RV traffic,
• Detrimental impacts to traffic flows and access to parking in the Village of Jeffersonville due to an increase in large vehicles,
