The sale of tortoise in pet shops should be banned, innocent people buy starter kits with their new Tortoise only to find out that everything about the set up is completely wrong, harmful & dangerous.

Tortoise need a lot of care & attention, the pet shops lead you to believe they're easy pets to keep, that they can be housed in a small vivarium etc this couldn't be further from the truth & therefore cause unnecessary grief & stress for the new owner & much discomfort for the tortoise.

It needs to stop now, it's hidden animal cruelty.
