Staffies shouldn’t be banned

So I’ve been hearing a lot on social media that staffies are becoming banned in the uk. I think this is wrong because yes they can be violent dogs but it’s how they are raised that makes them violent. It’s not the dogs fault it’s the owners fault. No matter what dog it is it deserves a life with a kind loving family. To change this we need to prove that people do not want this dog banned I grew up around staffies and my staff never hurt anyone.

I would like to add due to the comment I have received I do agree there should be a ban on the owners not the dog, if a dog is nutured and raised properly with no violence taught or shown it then they will not attack but when they are trained they will attack. So why can’t we ban the owners not the dog?

The staffordshire bull terrier which is the correct term for these amazing dogs. Is it because of the bull in their name like pit bulls?

How could anyone want to make a dog breed die out that is British in britain how can we do that to our country that would be like getting rid of corgis aswell. How can anyone think of banning a breed that is common in our country. Most people own staffies cause they are soft and very docile when they want to be. They are great with kids and cats and they bring joy to thousands maybe even millions of families in the uk and someone wants to ban them.
