Foxes are not the only victims in this illegal bloodsport. Hounds run miles on a hunt day often getting stuck on barbed wire fencing and thick brambles. They will be forced to continue to the end of the day in spite of injuries to their bodies. Small terriers are used to flush out foxes underground and also sustain horrific injuries and can die. These dogs need to be regularly monitored by the RSPCA as it is an animal cruelty issue.
