This year  the RP Funding Center decided they were going to issue tickets to high school graduation ceremonies. They selected a fraction of the number of seats their facility can legally and safely hold to be used. This is limiting graduates to only be able to invite as few as 5 guests where as other schools are allowing 10. With the building (George Jenkins Arena) over 6000 Most classes have less than 500 graduates this should not be an issue. Students are talking about not walking because they don't want to choose one parent over another, leaving siblings out and etc. This situation has students frustrated and upset. Come up with a better solution split ceremonies, charge for parking, use our taxpayer dollars!!

The latest update we have asked that Disability seating could be at ground level with additional security.  The entire ground level is never used. This would open up to an additional 500 seats. We've also questioned if the future Tiger Town could be used. Weather may be an issue but so many have voiced that they would take that chance.  We are running out of time for a solution and answers but the Lakeland Centers manager and the School Board have promised me they are trying to work on it.

Please sign this petition asking them to hear out concerns, don't leave anyone out who wants to attend a graduation. Treat these graduates with the respect they deserve. Let Your Voice Be Heard!!!
