HUGE NEWS – BOB KERRIDGE STEPS DOWN: HUHA COMMUNITY YOU HAVE BEEN HEARD!!
Jun 27, 2013 — Over the past few weeks HUHA made the very bold and brave move of calling for The Royal NZ SPCA (Headed by Bob Kerridge) to be held accountable for what we considered as misleading actions at the detriment of NZ animals on a number of issues. At the forefront was their wavering/confusing stance regarding animal testing on party pills. Today Bob Kerridge has given in to pressure and resigned as President from the Royal NZ SPCA National Board. Although we regret any stress caused, we feel that today’s resignation is a momentous achievement and indication that integrity and honesty prevail. There is huge change afoot. Looking to the future we are very excited that today marks the start of a new culture of transparency in Animal Welfare. Our motives are, and always will be to develop a strong and healthy platform for NZ Animal Welfare, for all organisations to work together to protect and educate. We welcome the ch
