Recently at The Royal High School we have updated to a new school iPad system in which many apps and websites have been restricted, despite us needing them for various aspects of school work. We want students to be able to take part in the discussion surrounding the restriction much more fully, and have our input considered. From Pinterest to Spotify to Calculator, there are many apps that many students feel are necessary to their education which have been prohibited without our consultation. As of now, the iPad restrictions are not inclusive of all subject areas nor do they keep in mind different study methods used by different students. All we ask is for our voices to be heard.
