On the onset of rising COVID cases in Mumbai, it is very risky and dangerous for students and teachers alike if the college continues to have offline priliminary examinations as it was scheduled earlier. As per the verdict of the Maharashtrian government, the schools and colleges must be closed till 15 February and everything should be held online including the exams. Moreover many of the students would have yet to take the second dose vaccine and wouldn't be completely vaccinated by then. Having offline exams would be hazardous in these unfortunate times. Many colleges and institutions have already decided to conduct online exams for the same. We hope with the help of this petition many people would come forward to put their opinions on the issue and the preliminary exams for Royal College of Arts And Science would be held online.
