Stephen McKenna started this petition to Royal Borough of Greenwich

We hereby petition the Royal Borough of Greenwich to remove the enforcement camera recently placed at the junction of Wricklemarsh Road SE3 0NE with Rochester Way and undertake a review of the no-left-turn restriction at that point.

The introduction of automatic and expensive fines for breaches which are often accidental and without any impact on road safety or the flow of traffic is excessive and exploitative. All the more so when turning right provides no point of egress.

We also urge the Council to consider that the original grounds for the 'no left turn' (restricting access to the A2M) are now redundant when an enforcement camera placed at the slipway itself can apply the necessary control without having to swathe surrounding streets in blanket restrictions.
