It's creating problems on other roads.
Road is empty and should be available for parking.
Just got ticket because of unclear signage at Westmount road end (30 mins free parking).

The new system now means Commuters traveling into Eltham Station to get train to work are now parking in Eltham Pk Gd from 7am to 7pm and the residents returning from work etc have to park some distance from their homes. In some cases the commuters park over drive/parking ways.
This is a simple solution and does not disturb residents but make the live better.

It's a silly idea to restrict parking in a road with no resident parking and that is wide enough so that parking doesn't cause any congestion. A pure money making exercise. Don't fix what ain't broke.

The Parking situation in Eltham has become ridiculous since the introduction of the CPZ.
It is also now impacting on residents like myselff, who wish to have a partial crossover installed by the council. The reason that was given for the refusal of the required 1.5m extension being 'lack of kerbside parking available in the area'.
Ironically, caused by imposing their greedy CPZ leaving roads like Glenlea empty!

I see no point of charging motorists for a non residential road.

I am a regular user of Eltham Park. Due to the parking restrictions the car park now gets very crowded. When there is a school event in the park it is impossible to park in there, and impossible to park on the road now. The council have found a solution to a problem that didn't exist.

What is the reason for parking restrictions where there are no residents? Please

Why are there parking restrictions in a road without residents? Perhaps the council can answer this.

This has resulted in cars that used to be parked in a non residential road which affected no one to them being parked in residential roads which affects both residents and those looking for a parking space in order to shop in the Westmount Road Parade. Local residents value these shops and are worried this will affect their trade.

Eltham is dying on its feet & this is only bringing the end about sooner rather than later
