We sincerely appreciate all your efforts and measures to control pandemic in North Carolina so far.it’s regarding opening Elementaory schools during upcoming fall season. With lot of Covid cases spike in whole country we are having concern of opening the schools for Elementary school kids.Delta variant is more contagious than other variants and reports says that children can be affected by Covid-19.As of Tuesday, an average of 192 children with Covid-19 were admitted to US hospitals every day over the past week, CDC data shows. Covid-19 deaths in children shouldn't be ignored, CDC chief says   it puts Elementary school kids under the great  life risk..Especially with  no vaccines available for the kids under the ages of 12,here we are requesting you to give an option for remote learning at schools till we get vaccines for them. We want a virtual option until they can be vaccinated, or because they live with an immunocompromised family member. The school districts serving Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, and Houston have all said they intend to continue offering a fully virtual option this fall. The number of Covid-19 deaths among children is more than twice the number of pediatric flu deaths reported by the CDC between 2019-2020, among the worst flu seasons since 2010. Hope we will also get the safety measures and remote learning option  to protect our kids from Covid-19.As a parent we want our kids to be in school for greater benefits but in the short term on their best interest remote option is the best way to protect our Kids.
