The Handicap placard sticker system is currently being abused by citizens that are not handicap. However, some citizens do have a handicap but it is not currently visible. I propose that able-body handicap citizens have a yellow placard vs the disable body handicap citizens who will have the blue placard. The parking would have to reflect the same with the yellow handicap parking signs. Meaning that the citizen has ben seen by a Doctor and has been verified by a Medical physician that yes, the citizen is handicap, however they currently are still able to mobilize themselves without assistance or discomfort which will prompt the physician to wright if need be a statement for a handicap sigh to be in yellow. This yellow placard will serve as a cautionary that will be for a period of 3 years. The blue placard will be distinctly for disabled handicap citizens still (5 years) that will need any sort of assistance (I.e: personal, walkers of any kind, electric wheelchairs, mobility scooters, transport wheelchairs and manual wheelchairs.) Help us stop the abuse of the handicap placard and give the parking back to the handicap.
