Mandatory Recordings for Honours History Lectures

For some reason there was a decision to make lecture recordings mandatory for first and second year lectures. However, at honours levels, where it truly counts, they are not mandatory and are likely not to happen. It is important that students do not miss out on information and this should not change as we have progressed into honours years. In addition, some students with disabilities find records more helpful. Finally, any student who has missed a lecture due to weather or illness is at a grave disadvantage. This encourages students to come in when it could be damaging to their health. We would like to see change this for all students and hold lectures more accountable for making information accessible to all students.
