The Moorfield Social Club, in Moorfield Road, Widnes, is a popular, vibrant and much-loved social club, with a long and prestigious history in sports excellence, including, Rugby League coaching for a broad age range, from children to open age, open age association football, plus crown green bowls.
The club also boasts a strong and friendly membership. The Moorfield club is the place where local families and the wider community have socialised in what has been the hub of the community, for many years.

The aim of this petition is to let the owners of the club; Route Professional Purchasing Power, know that the continuing and unnecessary closure of the club is not acceptable to the members, patrons, and stakeholders in the club and to highlight to them that we would like the club to re-open at the earliest opportunity.
