I am wanting to get traffic calming methods or speed reduction methods in place for Church Lane Dinnington, S25 2LF.

Due to the recent expansion of the industrial estates around Dinnington the number of Articulated vehicles and vehicles speeding on Church Lane has increased massively, this increases the risk of accidents.

The number of accidents have increased and before long this will lead to more injury and possible fatality due to the speed and size of vehicles using Church Lane. There are a number of houses on Church Lane and According to the Highway Code, the vehicles are supposed to reverse onto driveways and this poses a risk of accidents again due to the speed at which vehicles use the road.

Although recently there have been a number of mobile speed Cameras requested on the road this only reduces the speed for a few hours whilst the Speed Camera is in place.

I would like the council to consider making one of the following changes to Church Lane

1) A No through road  - Allowing vehicles access to the industrial estate however not allowing them to continue up Church Lane leaving access to properties via the Tesco Roundabout - this would totally eradicate all issues

2) Average Speed Cameras - Install average speed camera this would eradicate vehicles speeding and make the road safer.

3) Full Size Speed Bumps - Installing Full Size  Speed Bumps would eradicate speeding and minimise the number of vehicles on the road

4) Traffic Lights at the junction of Church Lane and Limelands Road, this would slow down road users and minimise the amount of accidents on this junction,
