Encourage NatWest/RBS to Think Again about the closure of their Keynsham Branch
This petition had 572 supporters
As you will now know, the Royal Bank of Scotland are closing our Keynsham Branch citing the reason that people now bank online. It might well be the case that some of us do indeed do that, but there are many Keynsham residents that cannot. At times, all of us need that face to face contact and this ought not mean a visit to a 'remaining' branch in Knowle West. It certainly is not just our elderly residents that require face to face contact, many of our local businesses rely on the branch to deposit takings, we visit to arrange changes to accounts and mortgages, we rely on good managers with personal knowledge of the area that have understanding relationships with customers etc and this list is by no means exhausted. We ought not take the removal of a vital Keynsham resource lying down. It might indeed be the case that you don't bank there, but how many others will follow if we do not step up and object? Please take a moment to share and sign this petition.
