Prosecute Demetrick Cooks, Rebecca Chap, and Solomon Pate!

Two women managed to escape a prostitution ring led by human traffickers, Demetrick Cooks, Rebecca Chap, and Solomon Pate who drugged, threatened and forced the women into prostitution for their own profit. The group of traffickers is known to have victimized at least four women and had the intent of stealing from their "customers" while forcing them to commit the sexual acts out of the local La Quinta Inn. The two women who escaped were severely beaten and emotionally scarred, but managed to escape to a local hospital where they were finally able to notify police of this terrible and ongoing crime. The traffickers also threatened one of the victim’s children with harm if they did not comply with their commands. The three suspects are currently being held at Travis County Jail.

It is vital that these human traffickers be punished to the fullest extent of the law in order to send a message to them that they cannot pull our mothers, our sisters, our daughters and our friends out of their homes and push them into a world of prostitution and degradation for their own dirty profit. This must end! Harsher punishments must be handed down and this activity must be stopped!

It seems that it is becoming easier and easier for people to be stolen like an item from the store and pushed into a world they have never known where they must commit these horrible degrading acts. If they don't they are subject to beatings or are killed. Imagine if this happened to you or to someone that you loved! Could you imagine being forced to commit terrifying sex acts with people you don't know, forced by the hand of a terrifying criminal. I hope that you will do the right thing and advocate for these victims. By doing so you are advocating for human trafficking victims across the globe.

Thank you so much for your attention to this matter.
