The speed limit through Rosedale town needs to be reduced. It is currently 60 km this is a main hwy through Victoria Gippsland. The out of towners dont care about the risk to the pedestrians. The main street and shopping strip is less than a 1km long. The surrounding towns have had theirs reduced but not Rosedale. The residents are sick and tired of double standards. 
A great solution would be point to point speed cameras. This will solve the situation and revenue raise for the government and Vic roads. This is a win win for the town and the government. 
The safety of pedestrians is a real concern and and we shouldn’t have to loose a life to make this happen.  Not after the fact!!!
