Scott has put in a tremendous amount of work to enhance the experience of dog owners and dog lovers alike on Roosevelt Island. After years of dedicated and diligent planning, he has achieved amazing feats, including improving the North Run with better fencing, installing double gate opening to prevent escapes, improving maintenance on both fencing and lawn care. For the South Run, he has ensured there is a safe place for dogs to play while construction continues on new towers while providing research and recommendations for the high tech dog park promised to our community. He also started a Whatsapp group for Island dog owners to communicate about issues in our neighborhood, set up playdates, and idea share on anything dog related. He has been a pillar of the dog owning community, even through his move off of the Island. 

All of his hard work should not go unrewarded, let's get RIOC to name the new South Run "Petey's Run" in honor of everyone's favorite furry friend.
