We the student body of Roncalli High School do not like this new mask policy implemented by the school because we already have spent a lot of time and energy expressing our individuality with our masks. We feel that school code already prevents the student body from wearing inappropriate or offensive masks, and this new policy is unfair to our expressionist nature as students. Instead of outright banning items such as printed masks, we believe that a more reasonable solution to this problem would be asking a student offending Roncalli High School's school dress guidelines to simply wear a different mask instead of putting the burden of the new policy upon the whole student body.

The solution to this problem, we believe, is an email petition with the email signatures of the student body (and anyone who would like to help) to bring about change and show our support for the cause of expressing our individuality through wearing our own masks. Anyone signing this petition is another person who would like Roncalli High School's new policy to be repealed.
