Save the wall mural on East End Park

The owner of the house opposite commissioned some local artists to paint a mural on the gable end wall facing my house and the road on East Park Street. The artists have done a pretty decent job and painted a Mural captioned "Living is Giving" with a couple of tags on there saying "reach for the Stars" and "One Love" on there...
I think that the message is very positive and optimistic and helps to bring a positive light and lots off colour to a very drab and crime ridden area that suffers a lot of anti social behaviour and crime. It is very colourful and in my opinion helps to brighten up the place. I see it out of my window every time I look out and it helps to lift my mood.
The problem is that a local resident has complained to the council, and the council has written to the owner demanding that he remove the "graffiti" or face prosecution with an "Anti social Behaviour order" or words to that effect.
Most residents and all nearly all of the children in the area really love the painting, and I for one will be gutted to see it go... Help us to keep this piece of colourful art in the area.
