This petition is to show our elected leaders that the citizens of this country implore them to pass a single payer health system.
Health insurance is currently tied to employment and that is unsustainable. It is far too expensive, wait times for specialists is far too long, medication and surgery far too expensive.
Our current system is cost prohibitive, health prohibitive and unsustainable. We are the last developed country that leaves its health care in the hands of corporations.
We demand change.
