Ashley Carbon started this petition to Governor Ron DeSantis and

Most states only require 1 initial Driver's test in order for a citizen to obtain their Driver's License and the majority of the population takes the test at a young age, typically around age 16.  No additional texts exist in one's lifetime when renewing a Driver's License every few years.

Around 7% of 2-car accidents are caused by elderly drivers and while 7% might seem like a low percentage, it is still a number that could be reduced by requiring citizens to re-take their test as a senior citizen.

This petition is to request that senior citizens in the United States be required to retake their Driver's License test at age 70 to ensure that they still pass and are safe to drive.  This would not only reduce the amount of unnecessary accidents but would also boost the economy.
