For a very long time now in Florida. Domestic violence has been considered a misdemeanor and if the person has not killed the victim but comes close it is still a misdemeanor. I Rachel Jowers am coming forward as a victim of multiple domestic violence cases. I called on all of us as Floridians whether you are a victim or not. I want to make a change and a difference for all of those who have struggled and have dealt with the tragedy and loss of domestic violence. It is not something that is talked about a lot and it is one of the most tragic and traumatizing experiences someone can go through. I want to make a difference in our community and I’m here to make a stand. please sign my petition. let’s make a better Florida!!! My hope is to make domestic violence a felony and I will not stop until it is. Many women and men here in Florida have been victims and more than you know there is domestic violence everywhere in Florida it’s on almost every street corner, every home and on faces of many children. we need to end this NOW!!!
