Here in Florida there are four laws that are completely and negatively affecting people of the LGBTQ+ community.

1: By law, you are allowed to deny service in a public place (like a restaurant) to a person who is not heterosexual.

2: You are also allowed to deny a promotion or not hire a person because of who they love.

3: Next, you are allowed to deny medical care to any member of the LGBTQ+ community. 

4. Finally, landlords can evict people from their house or apartment because of who they they choose to be with

Crazy? I know. I am 14 and personally have 15 friends that are either hated or feel hated because of who they love and/or don't love. I want to help them, but I am not sure how. This is my idea.

If I can get as many signatures as possible, I can send this to the governor of Florida (Ron DeSantis) and help get these laws removed. This will not solve the problem entirely because there are still people who are not accepting of the LGBTQ+ community, but I will get as much as I can done while getting help from each of my friends. I hope that this petition blows up and everyone can help as much as they can. For the time being, to all the people who are part of the community, just know that both the amount of people that have signed this plus me and my 15 friends will accept anyone and we will be actively working towards positive change.
