There is a story near and dear to many individuals hearts that we would like to share. We are here to amend the helmet law in Florida. An amazing little boy lost his dad before he ever got the chance to know him in a horrible motorcycle accident. Now about 4 years later his mother was tragically taken from him due to a motorcycle accident as well. Neither were wearing helmets at the time of these tragic losses. Now this sweet little boy has to grow up without his parents. We would like to see a change for the Universal helmet law, enforcing all individuals riding or operating a two wheeled vehicle to wear a helmet at all times in hopes of saving lives. Any persons not complying with this new law can be punished by up to a $500 dollar ticket. Each year at Bike week, which is held in Daytona Florida in the spring of each year, there are motorcycle fatalities that could have been avoided. The number one most common injury on a two wheeled vehicle is head and neck trauma due to the lack of safety equipment. We would like to see a change to keep our biker friends and families alive.
