Organize The State Out started this petition to Governor Ron DeSantis and

We demand the immediate release of Brother Othal Wallace aka Ozone from Volusia County Jail.

We demand for all charges to be dropped as there is legal precedence for the ruled innocence of individuals who may have acted in self-defense against no knock and other forms of police raids and community saturation. The cops' engagement of the African in the video was uninvited and unwarranted in the same way. Africans have the right to armed self defense to defend oneself, our community and loved ones.

We also recognize that Rookie cop, Josh Raynor, and the Daytona Beach police department is GUILTY as charged by the people in that community for racial profiling, harassment, illegal detainment, demanding identification and overaggressive arrests without probable cause or reasonable suspicion. We believe these same oppressive and illegal techniques were applied when the African in the video was pursued while not committing any crime and exiting his vehicle. The Black community have seen the many tragic endings involving “proactive policing,” stop and frisk, and saturation teams whereas no data confirms it combats so called crime in our communities. We want to encourage the people to seek the benefits of organizing to define codes, structure and consequence by our own self determined means to obtain independent modes of conflict resolution and PROTECTION of one another.

We reject the states charge of first degree attempted murder due to having no evidence that Othal Wallace was the person depicted in the video, no evidence of an actual shooting, and no evidence that the vehicle shown in picture was owned nor operated by him.

The people will work to correct the narrative that the state will continually present using mass media to perpetuate bias and lies regarding Brother Othal’s character and case. Mr. Wallace is a young father of five who was targeted due to his activism against police violence and other atrocities Blacks face in this country.

The people will stay consistent and follow up with reporters and media sources that report falsely on Mr. Wallace to uphold our position that he must be treated fairly and humanely. We do not believe that this system is able to provide a fair and impartial trial to any African therefore, the PEOPLE will work to share the truth and continue relentless support of Ozone. He is entitled as every so-called american a day in court and the people presume and assume his INNOCENCE even after they make their ruling we will fight and say Free Othal Wallace!
