Why this petition matters

Started by Adam Wright

The typical mobile phone is carrying over 25,000 bacteria per square inch. This is dirtier than a kitchen counter (showing 1,736 bacteria per square inch), your dog's food fish (2,110 bacteria per square inch), and even the common doorknob (8,643 bacteria per square inch).

Cellular retail stores are now reopening in the midst of coronavirus statewide lockdowns. These young people should not be required to work in these conditions working with multiple people. Some cellular companies are even firing employees or requiring them to use any remaining PTO time. If there is no PTO in the employees bank they will not be paid and/or fired. Not only is that unfair to these individuals but also these companies are taking dangerous steps in the spread of the Coronavirus all for sake of lining the higher-ups pockets.

As stated by our governor officials and scientists we no flattening the curve will not flatten if people are interacting with multiple people who may or may not be carriers of the virus. The employees have to come home after shifts pass it to their family members and risk more people becoming infected.

Please help in stopping the spread of Coronavirus so that we may get through this together.
