Bring back Florida’s online learning program

Bring back Florida’s online learning program
Why this petition matters

Ron DeSantis killed the online resource program, a very important element during this pandemic for online learning. Without it, there will be no free access to online library databases or truly any type of resource online. “Up to 2,000 adult learners could be losing their academic scholarships and school accreditation could even be at risk without the resources housed under Complete Florida, which are used by students at high schools, state colleges and universities.” The solution to this problem is simple: bring back the Complete Florida Plus Program. With it, it’ll bring back scholarships, library databases, and other technology resources for everyone. I am affected by this because my sister is currently seeking a degree in elementary education. Without these resources for online learning to students, motivation will be lost in students. Most elementary school students use a type of online resource to learn basic arithmetic and English through fun games and activities. Not only will the children be affected, but the teachers will too. Teachers take all responsibility for making sure every child learns and grows. Without effective and motivating resources, teachers will be under immense stress as the kids lose their motivation to learn. BRING BACK THE COMPLETE FLORIDA PLUS PROGRAM!
