Allow Florida Breweries to Deliver Beverages During Coronavirus

Under Florida Statute 561.221 and 561.57, breweries and other beverage manufacturers are currently unable to deliver the beverages they manufacture directly to the consumer.

This has a huge economic impact on local breweries and other beverage manufacturers during the Covid-19 quarantine, as many of their regular customers and prospective customers are fearful for leaving their homes.

This is particularly detrimental to local craft breweries, that are a newly booming industry with massive economical impacts to their local communities as well as job production growth.

Many craft breweries are shut down currently. Marketing resources are not abundant for small breweries and because of how new many of them are, it’s virtually guaranteed that we see many of these companies close their business once we are on the other side of this virus.

Temporarily allowing beverage manufacturers to deliver direct to consumer during quarantine could potentially save hundreds of small beverage manufacturers across the state as well as jobs within those businesses.

We are in a battle for the little guy.
It’s up to you to save small businesses all over the state.

Will you help us do that?

Sign this petition now to make it so that breweries and other beverage manufacturers can make it through and serve you after Coronavirus.
