Because he sent Mr. Wisdom to warn Rome, Ga that the Union was on their way.. The Union was like a terrorist organization.

I'm signing because General Forrest has done a lot for the African American. The BLM need to stop being ignorant and cherry picking who stays and who goes. The U.S. Supreme Court has stated these things are decided by the voting rights of the people of their state.

And I stand with him

I'm signing because I have a right to my heritage too. No statue is harming anyone, and we need to let this temper tantrum of tearing everything down pass. I totally agree with Terry Shaw.

No man should be forced to be ashamed of who he is, especially for something as arbitrary as someone else getting offended. It is the thoughts and associations that offend, not the statue.

I'm signing this petition because We, the American People, must stand up to protect our monuments of American heroes. We don't celebrate the misdeeds of the people we honor; we honor the good acts each is responsible for. Damn it all, America! Take a stand!
